KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- Kansas City Public Schools released their back-to-school plans on Wednesday, starting the academic year with all students taking distance or virtual classes. Kansas City Public Schools and the Clergy Response Network are partnering to host a “Peace Makers Pop-Up” event from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, in the Central High School parking lot, which is located at 3221 Indiana Ave. in Kansas City, MO. Patrons of gyms, fitness, and recreational centers, including city, school, and other publicly-owned and managed facilities, must wear masks, and are limited to no more than 50 percent capacity. The plan is called “Navigating Change 2020.” The State Board of Education is expected to vote on the plan Wednesday.
